Twins flip Jaime Garcia to improve their prospect pool:
Late Saturday night, the Twins front office dealt newly acquired Jaime Garcia to the New York Yankees for Zack Littel and Dietrich Enns. If you remember, the Twins gave up a minor league pitcher to bring Garcia in last week. According to Twins Daily, this was a flip job straight out of HGTV. But this renovation is just getting started
Xavier Rhodes makes it official – 5 Years/$70 Million:
The Rhodes signing became official today. This was just a matter of time. Here is more we wrote on it yesterday.
And here is another Xavier Rhodes highlight video:
Nino Niederreiter signs 5 year/$26.25M extension:
The Wild made a much anticipated signing today. Nino was a guy that needed to be extended and the Wild were able to get it done before any arbitration hearings. Granlund is next and it needs to happen before Friday.
It wouldn’t be fair if Xavier got a highlight video on The Daily for an extension and not Nino:
PJ Fleck gets 4 Commits over the weekend to bring 2018 total to 23:
The new Gopher Football regime continues to make splashes. They haven’t been able to bring anyone in above a 3-star but they are getting guys to turn down offers from big schools to come and play for PJ. Things will only get better as Fleck establishes himself and those athletic facilities get up and running. Here is more from the Pioneer Press.

Twins LOSE another lead, game, and series in Oakland Today:
SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL
What a frustrating week of baseball it has been for Twins’ fans. Now, it looks like the best part of the season will be waiting to see what prospects we get back for selling the likes of Santana and Kintzler. It looks like we get to unwrap new presents we don’t get to play with for a couple years. We have always been good at that.
Anyway, the Twins lost 6-5, in 12 innings, to the A’s today. I don’t want to throw my laptop through my TV as I type about this so I am going to take the rest of the night to calm down and you can read the recap from Twins Daily if you need to look into the loss more.
