Mohamed Ibrahim Injury Looks Ugly
The Minnesota Gophers and Ohio State Buckeyes are in the middle of a heavyweight bout at Huntington Bank Stadium and, should the Gophers pull out a miracle, Mohamed Ibrahim’s 148 yards and 2 touchdowns would be the reason.
But midway through the 3rd quarter, Ibrahim went out with an obvious leg injury. Nobody knows the extent yet, but something clearly pops in this slow-motion replay. I’m not a doctor but it looks like the Achilles Tendon.
#Minnesota running back Mohamed Ibrahim out with a leg injury. Something definitely popped. Scary stuff. Hope he’s okay. Absolutely phenomenal talent. #CFB pic.twitter.com/yxBskbLWNN

Let’s hope, especially for Mo’s bright future, that our eyes are deceiving us. Earlier in the night, Ibrahim tied Laurence Maroney for 5th all-time on the Gophers’ rushing TD list with 32.
