The Vikings Sign WR Tajae Sharpe; Expected to be #2 Next to Thielen
Source: Former #Titans WR Tajae Sharpe is signing with the #Vikings on 1-year deal. He’ll likely be the No. 2 alongside Adam Thielen, filling the void left by the Stefon Diggs trade.

It looks like the Vikings have signed a new wide receiver, in the form of Tajae Sharpe. The 25-year-old made his money with the Tennessee Titans, up to this point, but Ian Rapoport expects him to be our new #2 next to Thielen, going into 2020.
His stats with the Titans aren’t great… but let’s remember, he did have Marcus Mariotta trying to throw him the football (Keyword: TRYING). Last year he racked up, 25 REC, 329 YDS, 4 TD.
We’ll see what happens in the draft and how any other WR’s stand out, going into 2020. It’s clear by how Rapoport tweeted this, that Tajae has been promised a legitimate chance at that #2 WR spot. Otherwise, it’s odd that Ian would specify the role when breaking the news.
Darren Wolfson has some tape you can watch, of the newest Vikings wide receiver, on Twitter.
#Vikings adding WR Tajae Sharpe on a 1-year deal. @RapSheet first. Good prove-it situation for him with the best QB he’s had. pic.twitter.com/VeOpm73ne1
