The Minnesota Vikings have launched their season with an impressive 2-0 record, drawing significant attention across the league. However, there’s a slight catch, several key players have suffered minor injuries that could impact the season going forward.

WR Jordan Addison has been dealing with an injury since Week 1, causing him to miss some time. Including last week’s game against the 49ers. During that game, both LB Dallas Turner and WR Justin Jefferson also picked up injuries in the second half. The big question now is whether they’ll be back on the field this week.

Jordan Addison and Dallas Turner Sit Out Thursday’s Practice with the Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings completed their Thursday practice and have now issued their injury report. Unfortunately, Jordan Addison and Dallas Turner were unable to participate. On a more positive note, Justin Jefferson was on the field, though he had a limited participation in practice.

Jordan Addison missed practice again today, which likely means he’ll be out for another game this week against the Houston Texans. The same goes for Dallas Turner things aren’t looking promising for him to suit up this week either.

Brian O’Neill, the Vikings’ starting tackle, missed practice on Wednesday but returned to full participation on Thursday, which almost guarantees he’ll be on the field this Sunday.

Justin Jefferson says he’ll “for sure” play against the Houston Texans

Justin Jefferson spoke with the media today after practice and delivered some positive news: he confirmed that he will “for sure” be playing on Sunday. After being limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, it looks like the Vikings are just taking extra precautions to ensure he’s completely ready for the game.

Jefferson is crucial to the Vikings’ offense, especially with Jordan Addison expected to miss another game. The Vikings can’t afford to lose Jefferson. Over the first two weeks of the season, he’s already racked up 8 catches for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns, playing a major role in keeping the team undefeated at 2-0.
