Christian Darrisaw Expects to Play vs Chargers; Garrett Bradbury Returns to Practice
The Minnesota Vikings will play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon and the purple’s chances of winning greatly depend on how healthy their beat up offensive line is.
Christian Darrisaw expects to play; Garrett Bradbury returns to practice
On Thursday, the injury outlook took a turn for the better when Christian Darrisaw told reporters that his ankle is feeling better and he expects to be a full-go by game time and center, Garrett Bradbury took to the practice field for the first time all week.
#Vikings LT Christian Darrisaw (ankle) told me today that it's looking good for him to play Sunday vs. the #Chargers: pic.twitter.com/7fsrM39Rml— Darren Wolfson (@DWolfsonKSTP) September 21, 2023
Some notes from #Vikings practice:
— Alec Lewis (@alec_lewis) September 21, 2023
— C Garrett Bradbury was out there today in pads
— LT Christian Darrisaw was active, too
— No sign of Edge Marcus Davenport, who wouldn’t expound on the status with his ankle other than to say he’s “progressing”
Minnesota plucked offensive guard, Dalton Risner, from the free agency pool, earlier this week but he doesn’t expect to take on starter reps vs the Chargers, on such short notice. That makes the health of Christian Darrisaw and Garrett Bradbury that much more important.
