Winter Warriors: Minnesota Vikings New Alternate Uniforms Released

Earlier this week, we told you that alternate white Minnesota Vikings uniforms, including historic new helmets, were on the way. On Thursday, those new unis were released via social media posts from players and the official Vikings accounts. Their officially being crowned as Minnesota’s “Winter Warrior” uniforms.

The Vikings plan to wear the “Winter Warrior” uniforms for the first time on Monday Night Football against the Bears on December 16th, at US Bank Stadium in front of the home crowd.

Last time the Vikings wore an all white alternate uniform, they wanted everyone in white.. So if you plan on attending the game, stay tuned. They might have the same request. Maybe they will learn from the Timberwolves and just place white shirts on every seat prior to kickoff, but we will see!

I’m in love with these uniforms. The silver in the helmet gives an “icy” look, and then you add the purple detailing and it’s smooth, simple and clean. You may notice the lack of yellow in these, which is a bit untraditional for a Minnesota Vikings uniform. But hey, it’s not the end of the world. Overall, these are A+ and they 100% live up to the hype.
