Karl-Anthony Towns Struggling to Move on from Minnesota Timberwolves

Sometimes life deals us a set of circumstances that we simply cannot move on from. Taylor Swift has made a career writing about past relationships. Maybe Karl-Anthony Towns can moonlight as a songwriter too, because he’s clearly not over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Nothing can distract Karl-Anthony Towns from missing the Minnesota Timberwolves

Just weeks ago the Minnesota Timberwolves sent former number one overall pick Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks. It was a move rooted in salary cap restrictions, though they tried to suggest otherwise.

Since the deal, Minnesota has already gone to New York, where things got a little testy between Donte DiVinenzo and some of his former coaches (or at least one). But the Wolves new guard is the only one with certain feelings for his old squad. In a much different way, KAT still has all of the feelings for his former team, too.

Shared by girlfriend Jordyn Woods on Instagram Towns can be seen watching the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Chicago Bulls. This was preseason action, so the results didn’t matter. But it did to KAT. Dude was at a Billie Eilish concert watching on his phone.

Tough look for KAT

Karl looks like that guy standing outside a party all night trying to get ahold of his ex-girlfriend (who won’t take his calls). Towns’ real-life girlfriend Jordyn Woods captioned the video, “I promise he was enjoying the concert.”

Was he, though…? The internet doesn’t think so. Of course, Karl-Anthony Towns was dragged in the comments, below Bleacher Report Instagram post. Doesn’t he look miserable? Sorry Karl, we’ve moved on. It’s time for you to do the same.

This is a tough look for KAT. And why in the world would Woods post this on Instagram? Did she expect this to go over well? Her BF watching his replacement Julius Randle get acclimated into his former role.

sMinnesota needs their new All-Star big man to create a near-seamless transition. The Timberwolves wrap up their preseason schedule on Thursday night (October 17) against the Denver Nuggets. I’d bet Anthony Edwards isn’t watching Karl-Anthony Towns’ final preseason game of the year on Friday night.
