Timberwolves Strike Deal with iHeartRadio, Return to 100.3 KFAN Part-Time
The Minnesota Timberwolves were the first professional sports franchise to ink a radio deal with then AM radio station, KFAN. That partnership lasted two decades, before the two sides went their separate ways in 2011.

But Chris Finch sat down with legendary KFAN drivetime host and former Star Tribune columnist, Dan Barreiro, to announce a new partnership between iHeartRadio, which owns KFAN 100.3, and the Wolves.
It includes a 24/7 Minnesota Timberwolves/Lynx streaming channel on the iHeart Radio app, that will live stream both teams’ games, along with new, regular content and game replays of all magnitude. KFAN already has a radio contract in place with the Minnesota Wild so not all Wolves games will be broadcast on 100.3.

Others will be broadcast on KFAN+ and some will be stream-only, via the Timberwolves app OR the Timberwolves channel on the iHeartRadio App. In other words, if you regularly listen to the Wolves radio broadcast, you need to download the (free) iHeartRadio app or the (free) Timberwolves app OR risk not being able to listen to every single game.
