Karl-Anthony Towns Tweeting Very Cryptically the Last 2 Days

Karl Towns is usually known on social media for his back-and-forths with Ronnie 2K, modeling on Instagram, and Fortnite shoutouts. But, not the last couple of days. Recently, his tweets have taken a turn toward the cryptic… or philosophical, depending on who you ask. Maybe he’s just learning from the Minnesotans around him and actually mastered the art of passive-aggressive.

It started July 23rd with just a quote. No big deal…

With contract negotiations supposedly in place between KAT and the Wolves for a maximum 5-year extension worth about $130 Million, and a dispute (or not) that is still surging through social media between he and Jimmy Butler/Tom Thibodeau, the fan base is on pins and needles. Needing to go no further than any of his social media mentions or comment sections to see the animosity, Karl Towns is either holding back feelings that he thinks he can only show through passive-aggressive tweets OR he is messing with us.

Nobody likes to be fucked with but in this situation, I’d still take the latter of those two scenarios.
