Justin Jefferson to Star in Netflix Series ‘Receiver’
The rumors have been buzzing for a few months that Netflix, which we knew was re-upping its incredibly popular ‘Quarterback’ documentary with a follow-up series this year, was going to feature Minnesota Vikings wide out Justin Jefferson, in what they are calling ‘Receiver’.
Cameras were following JJ around during the 2023 season, so the footage has already been captured, meaning the documentary will provide insight into a Vikings season that included major injuries for both Jefferson and his former QB1, Kirk Cousins.
Justin Jefferson featured in new Netflix ‘Receiver’ series
On Tuesday morning, Netflix made it official with an announcement on their social media channels. The new documentary series will feature JJ, along with Davante Adams (Raiders), Deebo Samuel (49ers), Amon-Ra St. Brown (Lions) and tight end George Kittle (also 49ers).

There isn’t very much that is known about the series, beyond who the featured receivers will be and how the format might match what we watched last year with it’s sister series ‘Quarterback’, which featured then Minnesota Vikings QB, Kirk Cousins, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons last week.
