How to Stream Timberwolves and Wild Games with Bally Sports App Not Working
Look, I’m going to keep this informational blog short and sweet. Let’s start with the obvious: The Bally Sports app is trash. So, if streaming Minnesota Timberwolves and/or Minnesota Wild games is important to you, you need another option.
Starting last year, Bally Sports launched an app that offered a much-needed standalone paid streaming option ($19.99/mo.) and was supposed to allow fans to watch Wild and Wolves games without needing an additional subscription to any multi-channel cable, satellite or streaming package with another provider.

Bally Sports App Not Working
Problem is, Diamond Sports Group (which owns Bally Sports) is now bankrupt and cannot afford to keep their app functional. And now, two nights in a row, the Bally Sports app has not worked on TVs, phones, tablets or any other streaming device.
Clearly, Diamond Sports Group does not have the manpower to upkeep their app, as they navigate their financial struggles and Minnesota sports fans are paying for it both literally and figuratively speaking.
We have been notified there is a streaming issue with the app. The operations team is working to resolve this as quickly as we can to get you back in the game. We will update you when service has been restored.

Lucky for Minnesota sports fans, other stream-only options do exist (though they are limited), with the Bally Sports app not working. Currently, there are just two standalone streaming option. Most streaming services, like YouTube TV and Hulu for example, do not offer Bally Sports regional networks in any of their packages.
Stream Bally Sports North on Fubo TV
In fact, there is only one non-legacy streaming service that currently offers Bally Sports North to Minnesota sports fans. It’s called Fubo TV, which I’ve had multiple times, over the last decade, depending on my living situation.
Bally Sports North is working great tonight on Fubo, just in case anyone is wondering. Start watching immediately with a free 7-day free trial. https://t.co/cFUWfOuGls

But last year, when DirecTV lost its exclusive rights to NFL Sunday Ticket, I moved back to Fubo for good and I’m glad I did. It’s been the only non-legacy streaming platform to retain their streaming rights with Bally Sports regional networks, in recent years and its a non-contract, cancel at any time service.
You can get a 7-day free trial for Fubo TV HERE and check it out for yourself. Who knows, maybe the Bally Sports app will be back up and running by then (don’t count on it).

Other ways to stream Bally Sports North
The only other stream-only platform that carries Bally Sports North is DirecTV Stream, a standalone streaming option offered by DirecTV. With the Bally Sports app not working, Fubo and DirecTV Stream are your only stream-only options that carry Bally Sports North.
Outside of those three, you must have a legacy cable or DirecTV satellite subscription to watch Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Wild games. Both offer sidecar streaming availability through the Bally Sports app (when it is working).
