I don’t know if this makes our current situation void of sports, any better than what it is right now. There is a strong argument to be had, that this Emmy-deserving video actually makes our mandated-isolation even worse.

Sure, I like thinking back to the good old days, where 50,000 rabid fans storming, hugging each other and crowding TCF Bank Stadium field didn’t make me cringe and tap the hand sanitizer…. but it also makes me sad (and hand sanitizer is hard to come by nowadays, if you haven’t heard).

You can read my postgame blog from TCF Bank Stadium immediately after that game. It was the biggest Gopher football victory of my lifetime… the type of game that Gopher football has lost for my entire lifetime. But, this is a new age. PJ Fleck’s postgame press conference was fire, as always.
