Surgery Still On the Table for Sano:
It looks like Miguel Sano may need surgery on his injured shin after all. Mike Berardino quotes Levine on Tuesday.
“Surgery is an option there but we’re going to explore every other option before he has surgery,” Twins general manager Thad Levine said Tuesday at Target Field. “We have a little time there to still give him a chance to have a full offseason but we’re not going to take too much time. We wanted to evaluate that first.”
Molitor also mentioned how he expects Sano to start at 3rd base next season. That isn’t a shock. However, Mauer’s contract is up after next season. We could see Sano move to 1st base at that time.

Mikael Granlund to Miss Next 4 Games:
The Wild is already without Zach Parise. Now they will be without Mikael Granlund for the next 4 games due to injury. There are some interesting things that could happen with the CBA since the Wild need to call up more players but they are only $200,000 away from the salary cap.
We will have to wait and see how they proceed.

Demry Croft Upgraded to Number 2 QB on Gopher Depth Chart:
As Conor Rhoda struggles on the field, Demry Croft is coming back from off-the-field issues. Fleck said Croft would have to earn anything and everything back, after whatever he did to piss Fleck off. Well, he must be doing something right because he has now passed Redshirt Freshman Seth Greene on the depth chart and sits just one spot behind Conor Rhoda.
